H-Pipe and Location?

H-Pipe and Location?
I currently have stock manifolds with divorced (straight) duals back to Borla Stingers. I've heard both that h-pipes don't do much for our cars since they run pretty balanced as is, but I've also heard they help the sound a bit. I was actually able to find a video of someone who has the same setup as me but with an h-pipe. The only qualm I have with my exhaust is that is that it almost starts getting into ricer territory in the higher rpms. Judging from the second video, the h-pipe seems to fix that. So, from a solely sound perspective, I'm think I'm going to put a crossover in my exhaust making a sort of h-pipe. My question is: Where is the best place to put this crossover? I know you don't want to put it right after the cats. I can only assume you don't want it super far back though either...
For reference here is my car:
And the same exhaust with an h-pipe is in the second half of this video:
Thanks guys!

Sorry, I don't mean to bump so soon, but if someone could just measure how far their h-pipe crossover is downstream from their cats I would really appreciate it I will be forever indebted to you
