Default 18" vs 19" wheel upgrade

Looking for advice. 2013 V6 Premium. Have stock 17" wheels on tall stock Michelins. Want better traction/looks. Which is better fit? What about cost difference for performance tires between 18 and 19"?
It is a daily driver with AIRAID intake, already slides out rear wheels in a turn with brisk throttle. Want to get tune and 3.73 Rear eventually.
Thanks to all.

Go with either an 18" or 20". I just talked about this with some buddies over the weekend. Tires for 19" wheels are much higher in price. Everyone said the same thing, "Get 20's". I saw several sets of 20's on new S197's. They look good. With the right tire size you still have plenty of sidewall. They fit fine even with a couple inches of drop.

+1. Right on! My S197 came stock with 19" wheels. I will probably just buy a new set of 20" wheels when I wear out these tires because they are sooooo damn expensive.

If 20's are out of the question, then I would go 18's.

19" tires cost major buckolas and the selections sork badly...
18s or 20s are easier to find in the tire you want at the size you require...

I am considering 19" wheels, I can't believe the 18" wheels will make much of a difference in look, and the 20" maybe too large. Can those with either wheel size post pics of your rides?

I'm with you on this. Going from 17 to 18 is not very noticeable. I too was set on 19s but ya the tires selection and prices for 19s suck.
20s are good ONLY if you lower IMO. Truck wheels otherwise.
