Well things go a little more out of hand than I expected. Looked at gazillion on the net and then stumbled on this:

Pulled the plug and pickup on Friday...2007 64k miles

Nice ride! Your going to love that.
Sure it's not as quick or tight as a coupe but it's damn close AND cruising with the top down more than makes up for it

I have an 07 GT triple black Vert and I love it big time!

5 speed? If I ever upgrade and not get the new 5.0- it will be a white GT/CS convertible for sure. If you don't mind me asking- what did you pick it up for? Good luck with her!

15.6k. Unfortuately it's an auto, which I didn't want, but I loved the car too much to let it slide by.

Welcome to the club, Terpheels. I love mine, especially since it has warmed up. If you keep the top dressed with whatever you prefer (I like 303), it should last a while. Stay on top of the seats too.

Beautiful ride Terpheels nice choice on the GT/CS! Welcome to the brotherhood!

I love my '06 manual coupe, but if I have to do it again (and I will) I learned a few things along the way:

- Don't get a base coupe, go for a pony pkg. car, it already has the upgrades including wheels/tires and rear sway bar and deluxe interior

- Get leather because the standard cloth fabric doesn't clean well (especially parchment) and I don't think is particularly durable.

- 2007 up they made some changes and cost reduced the interiors. Compared to the pony cars or deluxe pkg. sixers and GT's they look pretty bland to me (sorry guys, not hating here). Also you don't get the six gauge dash in the base cars.

- If you can find them the glass roof cars came out in '09 and they are really cool imo.

- If you can swing it get a 2011 and up car. 3.7 cyclone, six speed manual, 8.8 rear end and sometimes you can find them with 3:31 axles (it was optional). Plus two words "kona" "blue"!

Next time I'm going for a glass roof V6 premium or MCA pkg. Car w/six speed manual and that sexy saddle leather brown seats. Kona blue of course!

Tom
