Default Add TPMS?

I bought wheels long ago that don't have TPMS sensors in them. I want the same wheels on my new mustang. How much would it be to add the sensors? If it's that expensive I'll just deal with the light in the dash.

I have priced sensors for my 2011 F150 and it was around $120 for a set of 4 (you have to do some searching on the internet because the prices vary a lot). I have seen sights that want over $100 for one sensor. In my opinion this is the biggest nightmare for anyone wanting to keep a car for over 5 years since the batteries will eventually die and you have to buy the whole sensor because the batteries are not replaceable.

Do you know if the 07 sensor is the same as the 06? From what I can find it seems to be the same, but you may need to verify.

But if it is the same American Muscle has them on their site for $40 each and the configuration tool (to config them once installed) for $45. They also sell the kit (four sensors and the tool) for $195.

You can call AM to check, but it does appear to be what you're asking about.

Check the Link below:

Just put a piece of black electrical tape over the gauge face itself and be done with it!

TPMS didn't become mandatory until 2007; are you sure your car has them?

Yeah the stock wheels had them and definitely worked, it let me know when they were low a few times, its a V6 14'. Not sure why the dash light isn't on but I'm not complaining.

Nevermind.. a day later my car is mad at me because there are no sensors to read. Oh well, the look of the new wheels out weigh the dash light.

could just be burned out, but if your car has the message center display in the cluster that should be complaining too.

My daughter's 08 convertible has TPMS but I hate the system. Just a light for any tire low. Wife's Burb shows the individual pressures in each wheel immediately identifying any leaking tires.
