I love my turbo for daily driving..even in rush our traffic. Makes the drive worthwhile

Great Mustang!

Hopefully you have found CJponyParts.com and LateModelRestoration.com - two of the BEST Mustang sites for parts. Also, has the BEST prices.

I would consider building your project in phases. Start with some foundational mods and then work your way towards the forced induction setup (Turbo, SC, etc) - hope this helps!

Yeah they do because they are spooling off of spent gases from the motor unlike superchargers that add parisitic lag to the motor due to being run by the belt drive.

Youll sound like a ricer. If you're getting a chin spoiler, I would also recommend a rear valence with the exhaust cutouts (dual conversion) to match the lower rocker panel and chin. With those few mods, she would look real pretty. Not to mention only cost about 2gs. Also, tint those nasty orange and red marker lights!
I have Pypes X pipe with two GT mufflers and it sounds just fine....no raspy sound and it certainly doesn't sound like a ricer!

I'll be watching this one. I also have an 09 v6 so it will be interesting to compare the direction we take our cars. Make sure to take plenty of pics. That's the one thing I have not been good at.

There is a thread somewhere on this forum where owners posted clips of different setups.

I went that route because I hated the sound of the wimpy stock single muffler. Now it has a nice little rumble....mind you it will not sound like a V8 but it most definately sounds 100% better than stock!

I think you should start looking at a tuner, CAI, and 4.10 gears. Very basic, stage one mods that have a lot of bang and give you a great foundation for other mods. Get a good performance motor oil too. IDK how many miles it has but replacing the spark plugs and diff fluid to something better might be nice. I replaced my plugs with regular motorcrafts since they do so well. think about getting some headers too. preferably longtube and ceramic. Springs, LCA's, UCA, and struts will help the look, stance, and getting the power to the ground.
also may want to start looking at some fat rear wheels for some fat rear tires..

Theres u a little dent in ur budget.

If your not interested in a supercharger or turbo set up, I would highly recommend the getting a CAI and a SCT tuner with 3 custom tunes from American Muscle or Brenspeed. It's an easy install and you will feel a noticeable difference in power!
