I had the borla touring. Sounds the same as stock. Looks way better with the bigger tips. I have the ATAK. I don't think they are loud or raspy at all. Sounds mean at WOT. Zero drone on the highway at any RPM.

I dont see how it wouldn't make a bit of difference. 5mm more air flow is a decent amount especially when paired with a CAI. Add a tune to that and there has to be some type of gain, even if it's minimal.

More air=more power.

I have never seen any type of proof backing up this "non beneficial" opinion. Thoughts?
As a comparison, a stand alone CAI only adds (2-4) HP. From my experience, with a stand alone CAI (without a custom tune), I could barely feel any performance gain. However, once I added the custom tune, I felt a drastic change in throttle and power. The custom tune adds 95% of power increase. A CAI also adds more air = more power.

The increase with the TB maybe minimal and may not even be felt. The question is, would it be worth the money to purchase and install, if the gain is minimal?

Yes! Although it'd be nice to wipe my a$$ with $100 bills I'd rather spend my extra cash on mustang parts
