Default catless x pipe from gt to v6

will a catless x pipe from American muscle, etc. that's for a gt fit on a v6 without having to cut it all up, im not a big fan of the pypes kit or the magnaflow kit. would rather do a nice bolt on set up without cutting and clamping.

No it is not a direct fit. The ends are in a different location between the V8 and V6 so the GT pipe does not fit.

lol, already sounds like ****, im trying to fix it to make it sound a little better. its got straight pipes going into Wilson ss mufflers and it sounds like a weed wacker, been riding around like that for about a year, its gotta go.

ive got a set of flowmaster outlaws that im gonna put on it, but rather than welding everything like this setup is now, id like to bolt and go.

guess ill be breaking out the welder to make something work x pipe wise

+1.

Get the true dual conversion kit which includes the cats and an xpipe. If you already have two mufflers (similar to the GT catback setup) this should bolt right up..

Like these guys said, it won't be a direct fit. The exhaust is very different. I would go with a true dual conversion or have something made to fit!

Let us know if we can lend a hand! Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266. I can also have one of them call you directly.

Why don't you just take it to an exhaust shop and have them fab something up?
