Is this a serious question?

Millions of airbags world wide have been recalled and need to be replaced. You can't just snap your fingers and make xx million airbags over night.

Yes, this was a serious question -- one I was hoping Deysha would answer. Its been 3 weeks since I contacted my local dealer for the repair.
Deysha can't make Takata ship parts, and as far as I know this is first-come, first-served.

If it would make you feel better from her, just stand by. In all fairness to her, she isn't in a position to make such statements that could negatively impact Ford. That isn't what her job / role is. There's been tons of posts just on this website about people having to wait. Do you think they are all lying and only Deysha can reveal the truth? Come on!

To make matters worse, Ford isn't the only one at the mercy of a worldwide shortage due to this massive recall. Takata produced for many vehicle manufacturers. But, Hey, what do I know?

But hey, I guess we don't know anything. Side note, you quoted your own post. You never asked Deysha if they were in short supply.

it's a publicly-accessible forum. you don't get to dictate who replies to you or what they say.
