Don't mechanics operate the car after they work on it? It's not complicated.

It turned out to be the thermostat. Apparently the one they ordered for me online was a bad one. They didn't know it. I actually ran the car for about 10 minutes before leaving their shop, and everything looked good, I had made it halfway home before the thermostat started spewing.

They came out yesterday morning and helped me replace it in the Publix parking lot, no charge. Just put a cheapo O'reily's one in for now, I'll order the better one soon.

Yep, maybe later on you can get the aluminum one. That's what I'm gonna do. So glad to see that you are finally enjoying your Mustang!

Now that the interior is clean - when are you going to tackle that engine bay?

Cleaning it actually could help you. If you clean the engine you will be able to easily see any other leaks and trace the source.

I use a Simple Green. 1 parts Simple Green/4 parts water in a spray bottle.
Spray engine down. Let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse with garden hose.

Then after engine dries overnight I use Tire dressing and spray everything down.

Brand new engine.

For the engine bay, try a motorcycle engine cleaner called S100. Lightly wet the engine bay, spritz on the S100, wipe it around with a sponge, and then lightly rinse it off the motor. It acts like simple green and tire dressing at the same time! It cuts the grease and dirt and leaves a nice shiny surface behind!

Thanks for the advice on those. I didn't get to it yesterday on account of I was lazy and it rained. Going to try and get on it Thursday. I'll of course take before and after pics.
