They were just taking up space in the garage at this point.
I bought my son a 2008 Mustang a year ago and he had the same wheels. He used 4 cans of Plasti-dip from Lowes ($25 total) and it really made the wheels look brand new.

Sorry for the 5 month late response. Car is actually running well mechanically speaking. Had a lot going on in life. Moved to Florida and took a new job. New job panned out weirdly and my company was bought out and my position deleted and I basically had to step down. Wife's grandfather passed away which was the reason we moved here. We found out our house was being fraudulently rented to us and we had to move. Had to get an attorney for that one. Then the wife started a new job.

But life is back on track now and I have some updates!

Well it's been a long time. Had a lot going on in life both work and personal. But I finally did get some progress made on the rustang and I am so excite!

First thing was the windshield. Not only did it previously look like somebody had replaced the wiper blade with sandpaper, but also I parked it under a tree and something fell and put a crack in it. Took me a few calls to find a windshield with the mustang logo in it. First Ford dealership didn't have one. But then made a call to insurance and had the new windshield delivered.

I decided to do something about this. Since I don't intend to keep this bumper (I have a GT bumper in wait) I just wanted to minimize the damage to it. Wasn't going to put too much effort in, but it really bothered me every time I walked out to the car.

It's not perfect, but from 10 feet away it's MUCH less noticeable.

Got some louvers for it. I wanted the MMD style ones, decided to go with the longer 05-14 style louvers.

Decided since I'm going to daily this now I should probably get the brake pads replaced, turns out the rotors were shot too. Also ran into some trouble with these piece of crap awful lug nuts. One of them was so unbelievably hard to get off when the cap on it broke, and I ended up putting some dents in my wheels.

Still upset about this piece of ****.

Also, it turns out my old hub cap makes a nice wall decoration.

Also, I almost got T-boned in the mall parking lot and barely avoided it by swerving into the freaking curb. Anyone know how to diminish this curb rash?

Now let's get back to that hood that we had a sneak peak of. Came off a stang that was in a front end collision. Fortunately my step dad is a master at body work.

Time to get this thing installed

Turns out the inside of the hood was stripped out a bit, and it was impossible to find a good size bolt.

Had to go with these.

And covered the screw in jb weld to hold the striker bar in.

Hard to get the gap just right, when you have a hood that was in a front end collision and a car that was used as a bumper car by the previous owner.

But we were able to get the fender unbolted and pulled out a bit, and got the gap lined up better.
