2011 won't start ... acts like key doesn't authenticate

It started the last few times attempted. No repair has been performed. suggestions are still welcome!

Is your floor mat pushed up under your clutch pedal?
I would suspect the clutch safety switch, not the ignition switch.

Nor would I suspect the Passive Anti Theft System.
I allows the car to start, then if not authenticated within 3 seconds, the engine dies.
Clutch switch....
Stomp the clutch to the floor like it was the brakes in a panic stop.
