What's the gear ration in my 2014 V6?

Good point JimC.
These 6 speed autos have a really low first gear.
For comparison I used to have a Camaro with 4.10 rear gear and a TH350 auto, the overall gearing in 1st gear of that 4.10/TH350 combo is about the same as my Mustang 1st gear with the 2.73 rearend.
Pretty cool having a 6 speed auto with extra low 1st gear and overdrive at the other end.

3.55 does sound like a good compromise. Though the difference between that and 3.73 is not large. I also think I need a better performance tune that what I have been running.
I have some time to sort it out, it will be raced more later once I sell the '74 Camaro that's my bracket car currently. That's being sold to get some cash and free up some garage space for the '66 Chevelle I'm building for NHRA Stock Eliminator.

Did you buy the car new?
If you have the optional 3.31's it would be on the window sticker. If you don't have or didn't see the window sticker put your VIN in here http://researchmaniacs.com/VIN-Numbe...cker/Ford.html and it will show what the window sticker was.
No Option on gear it has 2.73's.
