Moving to tech section....did you want to know basically what to look out for when you test drive those cars?

One thing with the 4.0 is the plastic intake manifold can crack and leak.

Go with the 3.7L! I was a hell of a lot happier with my 3.7 compared to the 4.0. Not to mention, as soon as my 4.0 went over 100k it seemed to have a lot of problems. Not mechanically, more with cosmetics.

Also, 3.7 has more power and better gas mileage. It's almost a no brainer to go with the 3.7.

The air filter is installed on the air intake. The air intake runs air into the intake manifold. The intake manifold is what sits on top of the engine.

I have read several issues about that piece cracking. I don't know how easy or tough it is to replace though. Anyone know if the 3.7 has the same issue? Because my 99 GT had that issue too from the plastic coolant crossover point cracking and leaking coolant..
