Default My car with new MMD Kage wheels

I've had my car a little over a year, looked at a lot of different wheels, and this is what I went with. MMD Kage 18x9 that I got through American Muscle.
Very happy with this decision, the only second thoughts I had was that the tires that came with are 1" shorter than the stock tires. These tires are 255/45-18, if they were 255/50-18 they would have been about the same height as the stock tires but it seems as though 255/50-18 is not a common size. Oh well, there could be some lowering springs in my future.

Looks good, they look awesome on the Silver
If it makes you feel any better the 235/50/18 that the Pony Package and MCoA run are only 3 tenths of an inch taller and the Performance Package 255/40/19 is 1 tenth taller.
I was running the same size on my 2010 with it being lowered .8/1.2 and it looked perfect.

Bob,

Thanks for taking the time to post this up, that's a great shot! The Black Kage with polished lip really sets your car off and I think they offset Silver really well. One of the greatest aspects about the color is that it goes so well with either chrome or black. Depending on what kind of look you're going for you can mix and match with black/chrome trim or tint (I've done the same with my Bullitt)

Let me know if you need any suggestions on your suspension setup, I'm always around to help out!

Thank you Siber Express and Alex!

I would lower the car in a heartbeat if I wasn't concerned about clearance between the ground and bottom of the car.

Siber Express, the amount you lowered your 2010 is about what I would do too. Did you have any issues with stuff like speed bumps, driveways, etc.?

Alex, I will definitely keep you guys in mind for suspension or other future purchases.

Anytime! I know how you mean on the lowering but there's a slew of options out there so you don't look like you're rolling around on an AirRide System!

If you're after a minimal drop I would take a look Ford Racing's springs as they're a little more modest in comparison to Eibach, SR, or H&R.

If you "do" go that route definitely be careful on the fittment as Ford Racing likes to essentially move you into their Shocks and Struts as their spring will require them.

If you go with any other vendors springs they will not require them but it's always a great idea to purchase an aftermarket set of shocks and struts so they're able to accommodate the drop.

Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions at all, I'm always around to help out!

I actually never did, but having lowered vehicles before I knew places that I could not go.
As you can see it fills the wheel wells up but I still have clearance under the the front even with the Boss Splitter on it.

255/45r18 Where 45 is 45% from width 255 mm = 115 mm(tyre hight)
255/50r18 50% from 255 =127.5 mm(tyre hight) That's why it happened. The speedometer now shows 3.6% less than it is

Good job on the math.
My speedometer is accurate though since the MPT tune allowed me to adjust for the new tire height.
