Default Key FOB not working and " tire pressure monitor fault" Error

I have a 2013 Mustang v6 convertible.

I got in the car this morning and the key FOB does not work and I have a " tire pressure monitor fault" error and dash light. I assume these 2 are related to some module. Any help in diagnosing and fixing this?

they are both located in the smart junction box, this module communicates over the medium speed CAN network, you module could be bad, or you could have a network concern. either way you will need a dealer to program the module, so i would take it in. after replacement a programming, the dealer will need all your key fobs to program them, and will have to reprogram all tpms sensors

I recommend you bring it in to your Ford Dealer and get it checked out first, idude2000. Make sure you speak with your service manager if needed. He is in the best position to ensure a proper diagnosis, and will be able to provide available options and/or coverage for any work needed.

You can schedule an appointment online here. Let me know the outcome.
