Default What Color is my Mustang? HELP

I can't tell if my Mustang is a Redfire or a Torchred. It's a 2006 V6 Mustang.

Redfire is metallic; Torch Red is not. From the pics, it looks like Redfire.

It is Metallic actually. I've been thinking it was redfire but I've been in Denial if it actually is or not. Being Metallic helps a lot

definitely redfire metallic, paint code G2. its on the tag inside the driver door jamb. it has build date, interior/exterior options and rear axle gearing code. this is the first time ive seen rims like that also. are they original to the car or aftermarket? im also a fan of the spoiler delete. currently looking in my area to swap my GT deck lid with v6 w/o spoiler. clean pony btw. welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the welcome friend. That really helps a lot. This stang I got used from a dealership and rims came with it, still looking for new ones. I'm actually looking for a Spoiler for my stang then going to add dual black racing stripes. That's why I needed to know if it was Redfire for the color

well damn, id trade you straight across for the non spoiler deck lid in a second. the black racing stripes will look really good in matte or gloss. id suggest tinting the windows as well. I could have swore that Ford put spoilers on all the early cars (05-06) V8 and V6 alike. im not to up on the exterior packages but I have seen s197 V6 cars with the spoiler. they also added the hood scoop in 07 I believe but only on premium GT cars.

I'm getting the windows tinted for $100 on all windows by my father's friend. I just spend $250 last night on American Muscle for the Flowmaster American Thunder Axle-Back Exhaust. I think all Mustang owners need to change out that stock muffler the second they get their cars

What I also need to fix is the paint chips that you can see on the hood. It's way too noticeable no matter how small they are

haha +1 on the exhaust change, its a must. duplicolor has a decent paint chip repair product that most part stores carry. comes with paint and clearcoat. there are several touchup threads around. most like to use a small pointed brush, like for models and such, to apply the paint. the goal is to fill the chip with paint to make it even with surrounding paint thus making the repair less noticeable. that big one on the hood front will be tricky. good luck

Welcome orichic to the Forums! I agree....the stock exhaust system is very wimpy sounding especially on a V6. That was the first mod I did on my Stang with less than 700 miles. Now it sounds and looks so much better with duels.
