Default Question - 2012 V6 Pony Stock 18' Polished Aluminum Wheels

Hello,
First post, be gentle haha...

I bought a new 2012 V6 Pony Package (I believe package 202A) a few years back, had the stock 18" polished aluminum wheels. I had to change the stock pirelli tires at 19k and bought some 45k yokohamas. I've had nothing but trouble since, only 27k miles...picked up a couple nails, unrepairable tires, and (insert vendor name? is that ok here? rhymes with iscount tire) had some issues putting the tire on the wheel, eventually getting it on (2x tires). Today - low tire pressure gauge - recurring problem on multiple tires. They said they had to replace 2 more tires, irrepairable, the bead wasn't sitting right.
They can't get the tire on the wheel. Either wheel. They tried 4 different tire brands - saying they can't get it over the ledge, can't get a seal. I had to buy new wheels just to leave.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Please help with any insight - do I have any recourse? 27k miles, no tire fits on this wheel, which I find highly suspect, as it is the stock pony 18" wheel Ford rolls out. Try somewhere else? Bring in to dealer? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you need to find a new place to get your tires. I have the same wheels and have had my tires replaced plenty of times. Wore tread out, ran over a nail, etc. Zero issues. 18" isn't a rare size, so unless you're smashing curbs daily or something insane I find it unlikely there was any real problem, so they were either incompetent or just wanted to make you pay more $$. Either way, probably shouldn't go back there.

I've been buying tires at Discount Tires for 30 yrs. It's the only place I will have tires mounted and balanced. I bought Goodyears tires when I bought a 2008 Mustang a year ago. AFter 1,000 miles I didn't like them and Discount tire switched them to Pirelli's P4's at no charge.

I just want to say "rhymes with iscount" practically made me spit coffee all over my keyboard.

I have had mostly good experience with Discount but they did twist off one of my wheel studs one time and then tried to blame whoever worked on the car last.
I don't think the problem was with the wheels. You could consider writing a letter to Discount and sending a copy to your state's attorney general. I don't think Discount handled that the right way.
