Default Performance increases without turbo/supercharger?

I have a 14 V6, 6 speed manual. I'm looking for an idea of what to do for general increases without going to a turbo/sc. Right now I'm looking at a CAI/tune kit (http://www.americanmuscle.com/airaid...er-1114v6.html), and a Borla cat back S-type exhaust. What else should I do to add 10 hp here and there?

Thanks

That is pretty much it. The supercharger is the only way to go if you want real horsepower that you can actually feel that will put a smile on your face. You are spending a bunch of money now on a grin.

I kinda figured the CAI, tune, and exhaust was about it without going to a turbo or sc. This may seem like a nooby question, but does having a supercharger wear the engine down faster?

the only other thing you could do would be to rear end swap with steeper gears

+1 on the gears. I think 3.73's might be a very good choice.

Not really if you stick with recommended boost with a warranty like the Roush system. It won't even affect your gas mileage all the much unless you are ripping on it all the time. Steady cruising like on vacations, you won't even notice a difference.

Can't do the Roush, or any positive displacement blower, on the 3.7 that the OP is asking about.

As far as gears, yiu have to consider the automatic transmission he has too. A 3.73 will make the 1 - 2 shift extremely quick due to the transmission ratio. For performance, people "going big" are finding top of the track results are not what they expected. And with FI even worse results

What about a bigger TB? Isn't that supposed to add around 15HP?
