Can anyone explain this?

Default Can anyone explain this?

His setup is:

Pacesetter long tube headers
Pacesetter off road h pipe
Roush over axle pipes
Muffler delete axle backs
Roush intake

Can anyone explain how this guy has the best sounding V6 mustang I've ever heard and he's running LT headers with no cats, resonators, or mufflers? It sounds like this dude is running straight pipes and he has no rasp. I tried contacting him but got no answer.

Looks like it has the one tire only spinning. I don't think the six cylinders had a locking differential in that bodystyle.

Sounds decent.

Sounds similar to mine a tad more raspy and louder.

I'm running Pacesetter long tubes, MAC prochamber, no cats, Pypes m80's, and Corsa Sports.

The M80's help kill most of that rasp, and the Corsa's make it so you don't contemplate jumping out of the car on the highway. I ran this setup with muffler deletes, and though it sounded amazing, the drone was unbearable. Corsa's give me a nice drone free tone under cruising, and pretty much sound like deletes under WOT.

Don't have a good out of the car clip but here's mine from the rear window POV.

no volume on my end (work PC), but, it's a V6.

When he does the drive by towards the end, if you pause at just the right moment, you will see the pony fender badge instead of the GT badge worn by the V8. I've never seen someone with a GT strip it off and use the pony badge instead.

Anyone know how I could get my 2000 3.8 V6 to sound anywhere near this? I just put MAC LT Headers, MAC O/R H Pipe, and Borla S-Type catbacks on it. The idle sounds pretty good. It has a deep but slightly raspy sound to it. Cruising is alright. Once I hit 3k+ RPMs or every time it downshifts it's straight rasp. It doesn't even sound like a 6 it sounds like a 4. I hear those 4 banger Nissan trucks and Ford Rangers pass by and it makes a similar sound. I want loud, but a clean loud similar to a 350z/GTR/Grand National/the mustang in this video. I want to eliminate as much rasp as possible while retaining volume. I was thinking about resonators but IDK which ones to go with.
