Default How do you test for a vacuum leak ?

Hello All,

can anybody help help me out with how you test for a vacuum leak on a 2005 Ford Mustang v6. I'm having rough idle and want to see if it's the vaccum lines. Any help would be great.

thanks

I used to use soapy water on them and look for some bubbling.

Haven't had the need to do it in years though.

Starting Fluid, spray on the lines if the idle changes look for cracks or bad hoses where you sprayed.
