Hey everyone I just joined this forum a couple of days ago. I've been dreaming of that Vortect Supercharger. You guys and gals need to be on the lookout for WHIPPLE CHARGERS in the future. (that is what SVT uses) But anyway I will be waiting longer than expected. I work in the car industry. Ford and gm are our major suppliers. I have been informed that I will be making $100 less a week starting in March. That hurts. Dreams are turning into fantasies. Dang I love my Stang. It will take Time. Whipple doesn't currently have a v6 (05) charger but in time probally will. They say 50 % plus horse power. That is at least 105 extra horses. Let's get those sixes going!!!

Whipple SC is what is in basically the Shelby GT 500 correct?

I think procharger claims a 45-65% horsepower increase.

Who knows if KB coming out with a V6 SC?


If both Whipple and KB come out with V6 SCs, its gonna be a tough choice between the two for me.

I like that procharger set up. The Stage 1 is doable which would pump my manual V6 to about 287hp at the rearwheel. Then you can go to a stage 2 and get up to 400hp!!! Insane I'd never stage 2 it but stage 1 seem's quit tempting with it's price. 1 meybe 2 years after I get my gears & tune.
