Mine has the one power button as well. That's ok with me as long as it does what it is supposed to. I have 2 weeks off for vacation so that will be plenty of time to install and post photos when done.

someone just posted that they tried removing the mirror and broke their windshield. If you are installing this yourself please be careful. I'm planning on installing this weekend after I say some prayers!!

Haha, Larmo dont be scared....lol.....I found the Ford Mirror.....Its a plug and play....There is a connector up in the Dome that the mirror plugs into....does the Gentex pluginto this same port?

OEM mirror has no wires or anything... standalone item. The Gentex comes with a wiring harness that needs to be run to the smart junction box in the passenger kick panel.

I've done this install before on previous cars without busting the glass. Just take your time and be careful. I will possibly take on my install on Saturday.

I mounted my sensor up behind the front bumper, but now I'm thinking it should be right in the middle behind the grille to allow proper airflow. I wish the sensor wasn't blue... it shows through my GT500 grille if I mount it right in the middle.[/blockquote]
