My kit arrived yesterday in the mail. talk about some fast shipping!!!!

Looking forward to the install this weekend. Has anyone done a write-up guide for the install? It seems fairly straight forward, but any guidance is always helpful.

I just placed my order: George Atchison II

Thanks a bunch guys! You all saved me a ton of money!

H13 55w 8000k for a 2005 GT

I also do not mind having a write up done, I have installed numerous HID kits on previous cars and will make one up for this one.

any chance that'll be done before this weekend? LOL

for real though, they don't seem too hard. but I heard the bumper has to come off, which I've never done.

Hmm, I dunno, I placed my order this morning so Im not sure how fast I will recieve the kit. Quick I hope since Im also on the East Coast (Atlanta).

I do not see why you would have to remove the bumper to install these, unless you mounted the ballast somewhere where it required removing the front bumper.

I wish I could find the thread again, but I saw someone had mounted a box or something to the bumper bar/rebar it looked like. Just some sort of suggestions because I think the ballast and relay both have to be mounted somewhere. where do people normally mount those things?

Yeah I know what you are talking about I think, most cars have a thick metal bar (the actual bumper) behind the bumper cover. Most people in my opinion mount them near their strut towers, which is what I plan on doing. I would like to have easy access to the ballast and wiring just in case I have to replace something.

Check your OEM bulbs, kit uses the same numbers I think the 93 is a 9004 bulb -97 I think has 9007 bulb- so you would order the kit that goes along with your bulb number and everything is included in the kit(except tools(lol) to connect ground and power)
