As always watch out for the gimmicks. You'll see lots of claims regarding output intensity but there are two major things to know when it comes to LED bulbs:
1) standard 5050 packages (common, LED component type) rarely exceeds 14 lm in the most expensive 3-chip configuration. So beware of pumped up numbers, do the math.
2) LEDs are very directional, so artificially high lumen ratings do not necessarily equal bright output as they do not emit 360 degrees like filament bulbs. LED viewing angles are very important to creating compatible patterns.

i purchased a license plate led bulb and very satisfied with the results, looks much better then the yellow oem.
i'll try to get a pic tomorrow and post it up
