RECARO Automotive Seating began in 1906 in Stuttgart, when 32-year-old master saddler Wilhelm Reutter founded a coach-building company to specialize in luxury vehicles, motor cars and English coach harnesses. Today Recaro is the leading manufacturer in all things racing. Recaro has paved a way to provide for newer and safer seats for those who race, or who want to improve their ride.

Starting with the most famous Recaro of them all, the Recaro Pole Position:


The Recaro Pole position is FIA certified and it is made from glass fiber reinforced plastic, which features a pronounced seat cushion and seatback bolsters which offer the optimum vehicle control in extreme situations. The integrated headrest was developed for reliable head protection designed with shoulder support for good lateral holding.

Moving onto the next available seat, here is the Recaro Profi SPA:


The Recaro Profi SPA is manufacturered with a high-quality Carbon/Kevlar fiber material which exceeds all requirements for quality and safety. These seats are also equipped with friction grip surfaces in the shoulder and seat area to grip better in extreme handling situations.

Now we're looking at another big seller, the Recaro Profi:


The Recaro Profi is made using a glass fiber reinforced plastic which also has friction grip surfaces in the shoulder area which makes it a great choice for rallying and circuit racing as well.

Next step up would be the Recaro Profi XL:


The Recaro Profi XL has a glass fiber reinforced plastic which is molded for the larger driver (35mm wider and 50mm higher) than the standard version shown on the previous seat above.

Now we're getting into the serious racing seats. Here is the Recaro ProRacer HANS SPA:


The Recaro ProRacer HANS Spa is the ultimate seat for the hardcore racer. This Recaro is made using a Kevlar and Carbon backing and features optimum interplay between the HANS system, harness, helmet, and racing shell in order for the HANS system to reach it's full potential.

Another great hardcore option would be the Recaro Pro Racer Hans


Also made from glass fiber reinforced plastic, and also utilizing the HANS device as well, this is the most basic of the most hardcore seats Recaro has available.

Next of the ultra hardcore seats we have here the Recaro ProRacer Hans XL SPA


The Recaro ProRacer Hans XL SPA also utilizes the HANS device, and is also made from a Kevlar Carbon composite material. If you're looking for an extremely lightweight seat for the larger gentleman or woman, this is going to be it!

Here's the Recaro ProRacer Hans XL


The Recaro ProRacer Hans XL is 35mm wider than the ProRacer Hans seat, and is made from a glass fiber reinforced plastic. Hans devices can be utilized on this seat as well.



There are indeed lots to consider when looking at seats.
