EvM Billet Aluminum Modular Rear Lower Control Arm Product Description

The EvM Billet Aluminum Modular Rear Lower Control Arm is machined from a solid piece of 6061 T6 aluminum billet.

Using finite element analysis (FEA) modeling, allowed us to design a light weight adjustable rear lower control arm by concentrating material in key stress areas. The machined holes allow us to reduce unwanted weight, and create a "web" design that has increased bending and torsional stiffness when compared to a stock arm. The benefit to the customer is a very strong control arm that will not deflect under the most extreme vehicle driving conditions, provides better handling and reduces axle hop

EVM LCA’s are available in the following configurations:

3 – piece urethane bushings at both ends.
3 – piece urethane bushing on the chassis end and teflon lined spherical bearing on the axle end.
Teflon lined spherical bearings on both ends (recommended for track use only).

The adjustment feature of the arm allows for the ride height and corner weight adjustment. The ride height can be raised or lowered by 1”.

What does Modular mean? It means that you can configure your lower control arms to your driving needs. The bushing and bearing arrangement can be changed as your driving requirements change. For example, if you order your lower control arms with urethane bushings and later decide that you want to install spherical bearings, simply remove the bushings and press in the required spherical bearings. *Note: EvM recommends that removal or installation of spherical bearings be performed by a professional or machine shop.
