From the billet base to the billet cover and sheet metal in between, the Max Box is just like the intakes that the Pro's use. We designed an upper intake plenum that incorporates both increased horsepower and better throttle response over a long runner design. The Max Box made at least 20 HP over the GT40 upper/lower combo @ 6000 RPM and above on our normally aspirated test mule at the rear wheels! Features a removable billet cover and a matching billet mounting surface with an O-ring seal to eliminate any leaks. The removable cover allows you to make any tweaks internally to the plenum [such as port matching or (?)], and the mounting flange for the throttle body allows you to install up to an 80mm unit. With our sturdy design you can also pour in the boost albeit a turbo or supercharger and not turn it into the "Leaking Bellows". Saves weight too. It's lighter than stock by 10 pounds! Fits under the stock hood, but please check for clearance on your application.
