+1 on the Smithfield show. If you've never been you need to try to make it out there.

Your not exactly a grandma driver yourself lol, that was a fun drive to Cracker Barrel.

Anyways, I was on my way to work like 5 minutes late, I have to pass through a school zone, it's normally 55, when lights flash it's 45. I usually pass through before the lights come on so I never think about it.
That time of year in February going the right direction around 7:15 th sun is straight ahead of you. I could barely see the cars around me much less the flashing sign. I told the judge that, he said not guilty and I walked.

Agreed with the "I'm not a grandma driver", I like to drive faster than most.
The judge must have been in a good mood (gotten some the night before) to dismiss it.
Lucky you

I was the only person in court to wear dress pants a button up shirt, and a tie. Everyone else showed up in jeans and sweatshirts. The officer also spoke highly of how polite and cooperative I was as well as she backed up my defense of the position of the sun at that time of day.

Just a quick update for people interested in the Mustang Round-Up in Smithfield event.

Registration has now met the point where we can NOT guarantee enough spaces for cars that show up on the day of the show without pre-registering.

We are under a strict limit of 150 cars due to space on the street. We HIGHLY recommend you pre-register at the website listed in the initial post.

We had an event planning meeting this past weekend where we met with some of the businesses on Main Street, they are all excited about the show. Many will be having specials that day on food, gifts, antiques, etc.

We ate at the new "Taste of Smithfield" restaurant (owned by Smithfield Foods), and it was great! They will also be serving breakfast during the event. Bacon!!!!

I snapped a few quick pictures of Main Street on a busy Saturday afternoon. Imagine this street lined with 150 Mustangs in just over a month! Don't miss out!

If you have any questions, let me know. Thanks!
