Sorry I didn't make the last meet but I was tied up elsewhere. I ended up getting new GT500 mufflers and man do they sound mean. I also just finished installing the leather seat takeoffs from Roush (they take the GT leather off and put on their own). I'm liking the leather. The mods are continuing for me and I hope to see everyone next year. So Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!

It's a good thing those International Auto Show tickets were free because that show sucked in my opinion. Why you may ask, well because all the vehicles there were vehicles that you could see on any showroom floor of the different dealerships in the area. The only good thing about it was that you didn't have salesmen on your back. Basically the show was for people that may be thinking of getting a new vehicle in the near future. I took one walk around and walked out far from impressed.

The next local event is going to be in March. At that point, we are having an event on the first and third Sunday of each month until the end of November. There is an event out at VMP in Dinwiddie this Sunday, but the weather is going to be nasty, so I don't think that I am going to make the two hour drive. That said, TSCC is hosting a winter carting series out at G-Force in Portsmouth. $30 entry for three to four races (about 1/4 the normal cost). That is at 1900 on 1/27/2015, and every other Tuesday after that until March 10.

I will be there, should have the new control arms in the front end by then. You would not believe how much fun it was to got those little front bushings out. Like the rear, fire did nothing, so we used an air rotary tool with a polishing stone tip to melt one out (messy, never do that without a full respirator, ever), about to try dry ice and sudden impact on the other one, to see if that makes it easier to release...
