Yep, your allowed to talk on the phone if you have a hands free device like a Bluetooth ear piece or your phone is on the dash/cup holder/ect and its on speaker phone. As long as you have both hands free you can talk, but your not supposed to be holding it, and for sure not supposed to text. But I think the thing is its a secondary offense or whatever they call it.

Like they can't pull you for that alone but if your doing something else at the same time like speeding or whatever they can ticket it.

You actually can talk on your phone in VA while holding it up to your ear (without a bluetooth device) if you are over 18.

You cannot text. Texting actually becomes a primary offense on July 1st and you then can be stopped/pulled over for it.

Default New to VA. Charlottesville

Hello, I just moved to Charlottesville, VA with my 1987 5.0 Convertible. My problem is I started replacing the top in NJ where i came from and didnt finish by the time I was scheduled to move. I need to know where a dependable shop is near me that can finish the job. Before any of you ask: the reason i dont finish the job is i dont have anywhere to finish it and I sold my air compressor and stapler before i left NJ.

Replaced the top on my 04 mustang with an electric stapler. Never needed an air compressor.
