I just finished developing our 05+ Mustang GT intake. The goal was to improve performance while keeping costs reasonable. Our stage one half intake keeps the factory black rubber tube (Steeda and several others on the market do the same). yes the C&L heat shield is used for the full intake and upgrade packages
