Default Clunking when decellerating with a VMP tune?

taken from a thread in the 05-08 section....

" Just took my CAI and CMDP's off the car and put the stock tune back on... i must say i already miss the power

one good thing though is the damn clunking sound i would get when decelerating and hitting 20mph that i though was the TC is gone.. I think someone had posted something about this as far as VMP tunes or something... Well mine disappeared now.."

and

"I got the problem (clunking soundwhen deceleration and noise around 1200rpm with VMP tunes ) . I got rid of the VMP tunes and use BAMA tunes. No more clunking sound when deceleration. No more noise around 1200rpm, neither. I am happy with Bama."

Justin do you know what the deal is with this? I had emailed you about getting a couple tunes and had pretty much made up my mind that I was going to use you but I would definately like to get a little clarification on this matter.

Thanks!

Default RE: Clunking when decellerating with a VMP tune?

I've had very few people contact me about this, and it has always been on V6s. Since this is a totally custom tune that I make from scratch, I can make adjustments if necessary.
