KENNE BELL

I have a 1.5 that I have considered selling. It would take a lot of cash to get me to do it though. New injectors, new maf, with a chip that has a tune already on it, plus the gt-40 intake and only 5,000 on the unit.
Be careful if you do get one. Our engines don't have forged pistons. I hurt a piston by putting a junk fmu on it. After all the money spent on all the fuel upgrades and tune, it was too late. I thought it was a header leak. I found out what it really was after boosting on it some more. The car is still together and runs but, will need to be fixed.
Even if you did get all my stuff, you would still need to get a fuel pump. I suggest a wideband too. I have one of those and a brand new h-pipe with the bungs for the wideband and an egt sensor already installed with also a led screen and boost sensor. It also datalogs with a computer. If you didn't get this, you would need to put it on the dyno to make sure the tune is right for your car. It would probably be best we trade computers too if they are not the same.
You are looking at 2700 for all of it. Your other route would be find a unit for less and run the fmu. Mine blew black smoke when I borrowed a good fmu from running so rich. Your car may do the same. I didn't like it and did the upgrade.

Now I may be wrong here, but i was under the assumption that the 87-93 5.0 HO mustang came with forged rods and pistons factory. I would assume therefore that the weak link in a forced induction setup would lie in the crank or the block. I have some nasty photos of a 5.0 block split in half from boost pressures.
