...and BUMP!
***************

Hi all,

I'm looking to pick up a budget strut tower brace from a Bullit or GT, preferrably 2006 or up. If anyone has replaced theirs and have the old one laying around collecting dust I'd like to pick yours up and give it a new home on my Steed!

See the pic of the kind I'm looking for here...

I'd also take the twin tube style from the Bullitt if anyone has it.

Willing to pay $60 plus shipping. Reply or PM with photos andl/or counter-proposals.

Thanks,

Tom

Hi Stixx,

Yeah looks decent, I'm interested.

- What is it? Doesn't look like a Ford brace...who made it?

- Is it powdercoated black or painted dark grey, can't tell from the pic. Does the mfg. list it to work on V6 and GT's?

- Was it on your 2007 GT? Have to be careful because I tried a 2013 GT 5.0 brace earlier this summer and it didn't clear my intake.

Thanks,

Tom

I must be losing my mind because I remember the brace already installed when I picked it up from the dealer. However, the consensus is that GT convetibles did not include a brace as a standard or optional item. Regardless, it does fit my 2007 GT convertible.

Its more of a gray than black. It matches the plenum cover that I had on the car as well (the plenum cover was for sure on the car when I bogut it - ha).

Anyway, if you want more pictures, I can grab some tomorrow. Just let me know.

Looks like you are from IL.....what part? Anywhere near St Charles?

none of them (coupe or vert) included them standard. Only the Bullitt did. Optional? most likely dealer installed, not factory.

Actually I prefer dark grey to black so that's great! I live pretty close to St. Charles...we can meet up and test the fit. I'll move this over to PM side now.

PM sent shortly!
