WTB - 05-14 used steering wheel air bag cover
For an 05-14. The steering wheel air bag.
I am editing this ad. It is not the cover I now need.
I need the whole steering wheel mounted air bag.
Repairing a damaged 2011 Mustang with the wheel bag popped. Because of the recall the salvage yards won't sell them anymore.
Anyone with a scrapped 05-14 Mustang?

check local regs used airbags are commonly illegal to sell.

Yes, that is why I can't find one at the salvage yards for my damaged 2011 that I am repairing. However if a person unbolts the igniter they would be off the hook. [It is the igniter that Ford is replacing, not the bag as most people think]

no, not even related to the recall. used airbags are not to be sold for instance i live in NY, so I cannot remove an airbag from any vehicle and offer it for sale. also, airbags are explosive devices and cannot be shipped via regular mail. why don't you go buy it at the dealership?

Well, you better call the cops. I regularly buy used air bags and related parts for my business at www.car-part.com. I just picked a vehicle at random. a 2012 Dodge Caravan and searched for a drivers wheel air bag. Lots of used bags for sale and a big bunch of them in YOUR state. However, none for a Mustang because of the recall.
