UPDATE: Over the past week I have talk to Muscle Magazine & Fast Fords (MM & FF) several times. They will not be able to attend the OC Saleen & Automotive Dezignz Cruise, however -- by the end of lunch today this event will be posted on the MM & FF website and have me as a contact. I'm trying to get them to pull someone off another event that they will be at in FL... we'll see though. We have 60 now gents -- so keep the word rollin' so that we can get 100+ stangs at the cruise.
I am sorry to say that Capistrano Ford is backing out of providing parking and lunch for us at the end of our cruise. I just got off the phone with the General Manager and he is worried that he cannot accomodate all of us. The dealer has been planning a large sale for that weekend. Hope is not completely lost, as I will make a personal visit to the dealership to see if I can change their minds.
Just a heads up -- Daboss juat called me an made me aware of the situation with Ford... I'm working other alternatives now as you read this. I'll keep you all posted
It is unfortuneate that Capistrano Ford has chosen to forgoe such amazing publicity as 100 modified Mustangs parking outside during a weekend of a big sale, but it is their loss more than ours. We have other alternatives, and Moses, Daboss, I and Stang Skeleton are taking care of the situation.
Also, there is no need to jump on the donation bandwagon, at least not in this thread, which is dedicated to the organization of the event. One of the four of us will bring it up ifcost becomes an issue, but if you are not in charge of planning, PLEASE DO NOT mention it any further. It will simply scare potential Mustangs from showing up and cause unnecessary commotion. If you mentioned some form of financial input, please edit that out of your post so that new viewers will not become confused.

hey guys sucks about the ford dealer...but i'm still looking for NorCal people to drive down with me...and would anyone be able to let me stop by their house Friday night to wash my car?...i'm sure it is going to be full of bugs and crap from the drive down...i'd really appreciate it and i will bring my Mr. Clean auto-dry down with me!
