On May 20th Mustangs West of Olympia www.mustangswest.com is heading down to Vancouver for an Open House (and anybody who wants to Dyno) day at FS www.fastspecialties.com Some of the SAAC NW club is joining in as well. Anybody else who wants to convoy down, can contact Brian_Willett@worldnet.att.net of Mustangs West. He wants to fill the parking lot with Mustangs. Here is the calendar link. We are also working with PIR to ad some drag racing after the day.

I'm in Redmond, work in Bothell. 2006 Torch Red GT.

As long as I'm here, I wanted to ask another question. I'm currently in an apartment complex with no car washing facilities. All the area car washes seem to be the kind that grind and swirl the paint, or the "touch free" ones have guys with broom scrubbing down the car first. Anyone know a true touch-free car wash in the area? Preferably somewhere on the eastside. There is one in Federal Way on Highway 99 (near 220th or so), but that's way out of my way. Any help you can give would be appreciated. Thanks.

Shawn

I live in Kirkland. Nice place.

In responce to Shawn I know of a little car wash in the Kingsgate area on the hill just northwest of Redmond. But it only does ok if your car is kept mostly clean. I drive alot and my car is yellow so my car gets durty fast. It is a car wash that uses presurized water from a post that rotates around your car. It is located across the street from Safeway if you know where Kingsgate is.

Thanks for the tip. It took me a while to find it even though I was driving right by it (don't you hate it when that happens?). I used the high-pressure wash next door to get the road grime off, so the touch-free wash actually did pretty good. Thanks for the heads-up.
