Got the route mapped out and did a run today. It's gonna be a blast. For those of you asking for mileage, the cruise will be approximately 65 miles. Can't wait, see you all in a week.

well, I got my schedule cleared and will be there as long as it's not heavily raining. The forecast is looking bad[]

Is this a new winery? It's not on the list:

it may shower here and there, but i expect it to clear up just like the hardcore mustang cruise/show a few months ago. it rained hard early in the morning, but cleared up

I don't think it's a new winery, but two members already scouted it out and gave their thumbs up. the winery will have cover for us in case it sprinkles along with a pa system for our raffle!

I have been going up the the Santa Ynez/ Santa Barbara area for wine tasting for 2 years and hope we can one day schedule a 2 day trip up there. There are some great, winding country roads, terrific scenery and some of the best wineries in Calif. They also have some great restaurants and even a Casino!
If anyone plans on doing any wine tasting be sure to eat a hearty breakfast or lunch before, especially if you swallow the wine instead of spitting. I usually will down my first sip of each wine and then spit the rest into a foam coffee cup. After 5 or 6 pours of wine you can be legally drunk and most of your tasting is done through smell anyway!

I was wondering if this was a new winery or if it was just a name change.

i think we should organize a weekend trip and drive up to monterrey for the russo and steele auctions. plan ahead, get some rooms at the marriot(where they always host the russo & steele auctions) take pics of gorgeous exots and classic beauts like the 1967 shelby gt500, gt350, cudas, cobras, and oodles more.

plus the drive up to monterrey on pch makes for one HELLUVA sight. passengers take the photos while the driver concentrates on the drive. don't want anyone falling off those 35,000 foot drops into the ocean now do we.
