the only thing i'm worried about is making too long of a drive. there's always going to be a nice ending spot to eat-that's the easy part. i just keep hearing about the mulholland highway drive to pch. we might not even need to go all the way to santa barbara.

if the mulholland drive may be good for only a small group. not sure, if i remember correctly it's residential.

just want less street lights, more twisties, and some scenic areas. there's a huge boulder or rock face on pch to malibu that would make a perfect stop and photo op.

I can take a look around the palisades.. I go to my fathers house in Topanga canyon every weekend so next time I will just detour thru the palisades and look for a good spot.
You might consider Paramount Ranch as a destination or a stop. Nice place north and west of L.A, just off the Mulholland Highway. There used to be a road race course there:

Dayam that sux! If the damage doesn't go all the way to the frame, I would suggest a cali special bumper or just get a take-off bumper in black.

Hey guys......its me with the red '93 LX...............I'm down for another cruise !!!!!! The only downfall that I see with cruising PCH is that most of it is just a one laner .......if I do remember correctly. This last route we took over the bridge was the best part of the cruise......any chance of passing that again ? ( It was something like a scene out of Hollywood......stangs covering all lanes of the bridge)

1st off awesome cruise. The length wasgood and the route's we took were perfect. By far the best cruise i've been on. The Bridge was the best part (along with the freeway hopping), most of us in the front took off as soon as it opened up to 3 lanes and it was wide open. I will definetly be around for the next one. Great Job.

I think Mullhulland to pch is an awesome idea.

There is Neptunes Net, just north of where Mullhuland hits PCH.. I think its the resturauntfrom "Point Break"
http://www.neptunesnet.com/

havnt been there in forever, but google maps looks like it has a decent sized parking lot.
And I think you can park all along PCH right there also.

It's part of the National Parks Service lands in the Santa Monica Mountains. No charge for parking and/or trail riding and walking. There is a neat covered picnic area, lots of grass; you have to walk an eighth-mile from the unpavedparking area to the Western Town and grass.

I've used up my out-of-town quota for a while. Haveto save up for the Las Vegas thing in mid-May.

You sure know how to set up a good function. I know anything you come up with will be great, and I'll look forward to seeing the rave reviews when the next one is in the books.

Thanks for all youractivities and efforts. Always a pleasure to see your work.

Cheers!
