Default shops in San Diego

I just moved to San Diego and am looking for someone to install a midpipe. Can anyone recommend a good shop that wont charge me an arm and a leg? I have gotten one quote so far and they wanted to charge me $125, which i think is outrageous. Thanks for any help guys.

yeah, i wouldnt have a problem doing it myself except that i live in an apartment and have absolutely nowhere to work on it. i used to have access to a full hot rod shop, which is where i installed my O/R H-Pipe, and now i feel helpless because i need to get the stock one back on for smog. is the normal rate for shop work out here $125/hr? cause in NC its only about $65-75/hr.

Try woodside auto. They are located in Lakeside off of Maine and Woodside Ave. The owener Pierre is knowledgeable with mustangs and other other cars as well. I believe his shop rate is $65 per. hour. A lot of local mustang owners go to him.

if you are near the south bay like chula vista/bonita are there is a shop called Ledezma's Mufflers and they are really cool. they charged me 65 for a complete exhaust swap so it will probably be cheaper for just a midpipe
