Im new to the 5.0 world (sort of) and im in need of a ECU this weekend....I have a 86 5.0 converted to mass air in a 65 falcon and I need a ECU to play nice with my aod.
I have a A9L and it wants to stall after I rev it up and let it idle back downand its for a 5spd ...so what I need (i think) is a a9p or any other ecu that will work right with a auto tranny...if anyone has one in the socal area or knows where i can get one from a junk yard that would be awesome....heres my set up.

I originally thought that I was picking up a 90 5.0 out of a mustang, but the guy made a mistake and I not knowing too much about these motors thought it was too...long story short I ended up with this heap of a motor....
any help would be appreciated..

Hello everyone. I noticed this thread from a few years ago - however it didnt get any responses. I looked through the website & I didn't see too much either.
If someone has a list or knows a few good junk yards in the SoCal area that would be awesome! I am new to this area & I have no idea where to go. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again!
