1" would be likely be too much for good handling/gemetry. What drop are you now?

FR3 is listed as giving a 1" drop on the FRPP site, but on other sites, I've seen 1.25 - 1.5" listed. Who knows. I'd go with FRPP's description, you'd think that would be the most accurate. The FR3 pack is what comes on the Shelby and GT500 I believe. The handling and ride quality is very good, IMO. I'd like it to be a little lower still. Too bad it's not adjustable.

I have to check to make sure I have the FRPP M-5300-P springs (1" drop), and not the M-5300-K springs (1.5") drop. Looks like FRPP says either spring can be used with the dampers that come in the FR3 kit, which is good, but I don't think it's worth a change for just another .5". A full inch would be a more significant change looks-wise, not to mention lowering the roll center. But...then I'd probably have to change out to matched dampers, get an adjustable camber plate kit, possibly change out other items to get the geometry right, etc. Could turn into big dollars to really do it right. Maybe I'll just do nothing, and leave the car as is.

Your thoughts/recommendation?

After I posted, I realized you have 20" wheels and could go a bit more, but would not go 1" additional. Would also be a good idea to change the dampers if you go much lower and especially if you go that extra 1" you are considering.

I am not as up to speed with the S197's as the SN95's, but you lower my car too much and the roll-center goes below ground!

Hey looking to pick up a set of HRE in the next couple of months in a similair size. If you don't mind me asking, how much did the wheels/tires set you back? PM me if you don't want to post in thread. Also, what made you choose this set instead of the ones you posted earlier? They look good man!
