Default 315.35.17 Firestone Firehawk

I have a chance to buy a used set for my 10.5 dd. Was wondering if any one has any info good or bad about these tires.

What is model number?

Tires should be determined by your driving needs and decided by your budget... What are they?

I know it was a general ? with little info, I'm waiting for him to answer the exact same ? The tire's tread is similar to the BF Goodrich T/A tire, saw the add on Craig's list.
What I would prefer to do is buy the Nitto 555r's because they fit my criteria, but for the $ I would take a close look at these.

The 555'R is going to be VERY soft and, for the sized mentioned, would really only be good for the corner.

Post up a pic/link to the tire when you find out which one it is.

^ BUT...... do you enjoy a nice, juicy fantastic set of twisties?

You have got some power mods, so I ALWAYS recommend a tire that is worthy of the upgrades made. Tires are the single most important keeping the car on the road, next to the driver. You wont go wrong with a set of NT555's, but can add the "R" to them for a little boost in traction . I run the Michelin PS2 and is fantastic, but getting upward on budget. Below is my standard question for the situation in which you find yourself (I am repeating myself here, but I gots to do it )

Tires should be determined by your driving needs and decided by your budget... What are they?

I actually don't necessarily have to have a dr just a good summer tire that will fit my 10.5 rim that will be decent at the track but handle "the twisties".
A buddy with similar mods didn't like the Sumitomo's as a every day tire that saw some track time.
