I bought a set of wheels from AmericanMuscle but I have noticed that the back wheels hit those bumps pretty hard. Can I do something to soften things up a bit?
Thanks!

The HTR Z is a real high-performance tire so has a stiff sidewall for the twisties. There is really not a lot you can do about it besides keeping an eye out and slowing down more so the bump is not as harsh. You could try playing with the pressures a bit, but would not go too low. I generally recommend you start with about 10 PSI below the max rated pressure and see how that feels. My guess is your tires are probably marked for 45 PSI max or so and will gain about 8~9 PSI from cold to hot after driving around for a few hours.

Welcome to the world of high-performace tires

High-performance tire? Stiff sidewall? Yeah, that would help explain why the back tires seem to hit bumps harder. I will adhere to yours suggestion and go 10 psi below. AmericanMuscle made the same suggestion and said that 32-36 psi would be safe. I'll do the same for the front tires as well.
Thanks.
Here are a couple of pics in case you are wondering how they look like.
It looks as though you still run the stock springs as well, so you would not like my car! I run a 30 series all around on race suspension real wide tires and VERY stiff sidewalls. I still run a soft spring, but not a stock ride in terms of comfyness (< spelling?) on the bumps. This is just something you will have to get used to for a performance ride.

I've seen pics of your car and it looks cool. It's just that height is really not something that I have been concerned with too much. With my luck, I would probably end up hitting something if it was lower.
