Default Wheels/Rims: advice and info requested

I am in the market for some new shoes for my black 2010 Gt prem. saddle bag leather interior. windows tinted at 19%

I have talked to some people at the dealership about 18" vs. 20" rims and wanted all your thoughts.

They say that the ride on rims bigger then 18" is horrible in the stangs. It's hard and very bumpy, just plain uncomfortable.

So my question is... Is it seriously that bad of a ride with 19+ inch rims on the car? Because I found some sweet A$$ 20" gunmetal 5 star rims that I really wanna get.

I agree that a 20" wheel will to give you a harsher ride, due to the sidewall necessary to have clearance under fender. This is a subjective thing though, so you should ride in a similar car with low-profile 20" tires to see for yourself.

Personally, I think an 18" wheel is perfect for a just about ALL Stangs, but this is just an opinion and MANY like 20"s on an S197 ('05+ Mustangs) Take a peek at my Choosing a new tire thread a bit later on tonight. It is now about 6:00 Wednesday and will be working on profile hight a bit later after dinner. I have lots of info on tires and pros/cons of a given type.

You will have very limited tire choices in a 19" wheel and a bit more in a 20" wheel. You will have TONS of choices in an 18" wheel, so you need to decide.

Need to have dinner now, pepe my thread later tonight
