Would this fit?

Hey everyone, there's so much info in here...its overwhelming...

I have a 03' GT with the optional 5 stars(similar to the cobra rims).

I was thinking of going larger, using BF Goodrich g-Force T/A™ KDW.

Would the following fit:

265 40 17 for the Front
275 40 17 for the Rear

If they would fit, I was told that I may suffer handling issues? I dunno who to listen to anymore.

You can run those size tires on your ride without a problem, but drawing a blank on what they look like.

Do you have a link to a car with these wheels, as you need to be at least 9" wheels to run those shoes.
