Default recomended tire size for 17 x 10.5" rear on 94gt

I have a set of wheels on my 94 gt that is 17 x 10.5, and came with those super nice sumitomo tires but I got them new/used for the right price. The tires have worn out and I am now looking to replace them but always wondered if they were the right size as I did have a slight rubbing issue in the rear. The tires that are on there now are 315 30 zr17, are these too wide?

What size should I have and what air pressure is recomended with 10.5's?

Are you sure they're not 315/35/17"s? as a 30 series is odd in your size.

Tire pressure will vary from tire to tire, but is usually going to be on the higher side on such a low profile. I would recommend starting about 10 PSI below the max rating on side of tire and see how she drives. The tires will get warm and pick up about 8 PSI or so after a while on the road.

What Sumi's are you running currently?
