2010 wheels on a 98 GT

I have recently bought a 98 Mustang GT and it is in need of some tires. I found a set of 2010 17" wheels with new tires on Craigslist for about what I would pay for new tires and mounting on my stock 17's. What do I need to do to make them fit or is it even possible?

They are not going to fit very well on your ride

The wheels designed for an S197 ('05+ Mustang) have a differing off-set and will be approx. 1" deeper under your ride than a wheel meant for your year. I would NOT buy those wheels, as they will not fit well without spacers and don't recommend them for safety/convenience reasons.

Pepe the site sponsors and will find LOTS of choices in wheels/tires for your ride.
