The PS2's warm up after a short while of maybe 10 minutes or so, but a bit longer in the 50* or lower days. Just the price one pays to have a tire that holds well for lateral grip.

All tires will need to warm up a bit and my R888's warm up real fast, but not so great in the wet. Take a look at the new sticky that Luke just made. It has some real nice info on comparisons of different tires.

Bop... You want additional grip and more $$$ is needed for a discernible amount of it. I have also drivin the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's and these PS2's blow them away in the dry. I have driven BOTH in the identical scenario's with identical suspension systems and tinkered with the tire pressure as well. They will be better in the wet, but NOT better in the dry. You could shop those, but unless you find a great deal, you are just gonna have to break your sisters piggy-bank

hot... Yup They are not soo good in the wet, so would not drive them year 'round

Thanks Jazzer. The PS2's aren't on Lukes top performing list, but in his second category;. Is that because all the top ones are straight line and PS2 are curvy? Thanks man

His list is not focused on tires that dig off the line, but rather open-track and AX type of performance. The PS2's are just a level below the top list, but will be a better year 'round tire.

I have debated getting a set of the Advan Neova AD08, #1 on his list, after my first set of R888's was done, but my research suggested they were better in some areas and not as good in others, so a wash. I found a fantastic deal for a pair of 315/30/18"s shipped to my door for $350, so I am commited to at least a second set of them now.
