Default new tire help!

Hey guys this weekend one of my tires went flat, after taking it off I found a pin hole near the side of the tread. I looked into getting it fixed since the tires dont even have 15k miles on them. No luck to close to the side to repair. So after looking for several hours for a matching replacment a friend finally found one for 200$. My dilema is that I know these tires dont have alot of miles on them but they are the stock GT takeoffs pirelli's. They have cupped and I was told the tire was still good but I should probably replace them. The noise they make is horrible and they dont ride to well either. I was told long term use of these and I will be replacing struts. So I've seen alot of tires and I dont have alot of money, I cant drop 1000$ for a set of tires right now really 800 is more than I can handle. Anyone know of some decent tires without me having to go broke? I have seen some cheaper ones but have been told they wont stay together long. Any ideas or help?

If your tires are cupping and ride horribly as you describe I would suggest you get them replaced and get an alignment done.

The Pirelli P zero neros run about 170 each at discount tire, you can find others even cheaper.
The only cheaper option I see is patiently hunt for someone selling take offs for cheaper, but they will have the same cupping problem in time.

why not try a set of the Dunlop SP Sport Signature .... a pretty good drive with decent handling and ride quality with a good warranty while at only $122.00 each they are not exactly breaking the bank

and just so, you know cupped tires will not cause your struts to go out. How often do you get your tire pressure? Incorrect tire pressure is the number 1 cause of tire cupping.

Thanks for the info, as far as alignment yes I thought the same thing took it in and they said it was in perfect alignment. As far as tire pressure, that one I'm not 100% on, they never looked low or too high. When I took them off for the winter I would clean them and check them, then check again when I put them on for the spring. How often do you suggest checking the tire pressure? I also have tpms.
thanks
